They'll have to be careful - Amazon works on a % basis for sellers under-performing, ie. if a seller has a high-percentage of cancelled orders in a week/month, then they'll be banned for life from selling on the Marketplace. What I see happening is a) negotiation with Amazon over misprices to see if they can be let off the hook and/or b) a slow cancellation of everyone's orders over a long period of time so as not to bump themselves over Amazon's 'banning' percentage.

Which would probably explain the generic cancellation emails and the fact that none of our orders have actually been cancelled yet and still display as dispatching soon!

Just received 2 cancellation emails off amazon for what I ordered, but it states in the email that my card has not been charged for the items, but I have been charged for them.

All my orders have 'disappeared' from view, so presume my first theory prevailed and they've managed to negotiate a deal with Amazon. No £5 credit though, so that must be for something unrelated, cambermam?
