Out of date goods

Hello everyone, today I cleaned out my store cupboard! I found a lot of tinned goods that are out of date by 6/7 months
most of it is fish, red salmon, plichards and tuna. Do you think any of it is still edible or shall I just throw it out?
Thanks

That can depend on whether the dates shown are "best before" dates or "use by" dates.
For tins there is also the condition of the tin itself to be checked for things like dents or rust or swelling.

We'v eaten some tuna a while ago which had a best before date of over a year ago - and as you can see, I'm still alive!
Just open the tins and smell them, if they smell ok, use them, if not, bin them.He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
