Live in Spain. Hiring car with Avis in UK when going to visit relatives for 2 weeks. Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced Car Hire Excess Insurance Company. Have been trawling the net and have now got a headache reading policies ! Most appear to exclude cover between 20.00hrs and 08.00hrs, or if the vehicle is left unattended. Is this normal on all policies ?

    Thanks Colin. But does it have any restrictions on about being left unattended?. Cann't for the life of me see anything in the policy wording.
