I don't know which is worse, that you can assume you know my thinking or that others think your opinion is worthwhile enough to thank you, for a post they haven't even managed to reply on themselves? Somehow from a initial question on loyalty, I am now lazy, apathetic and stupid? Nice.

No I didn't think that. I was really asking about the weighting a lender makes on the loyalty of you as a customer. Supposedly, a disputed report should be checked, that it wasn't I guess shows how much notice lenders pay to these things, I guess the loyalty is treated much the same.

I stated clearly twice that I need to clear the dispute with Mint, I know where the problem lies and how to try to solve it and that wasn't what I asked about. The original replies were helpful and the posters clearly got the drift, seems some later replies focused more on getting their opinions fitted in irrespective of how that matches the question.

Right but when it comes to credit score weighting loyalty does count.

Lloyds TSB and HBOS provide pre-approvals to customers they deem appropriate. It did, however, take me nearly two years of impeccable account conduct with Lloyds TSB before they pre-approved me for anything.
