INR buyer claim on day 45

I know I am going to have to issue a refund but doesnt it just annoy you when a buyer opens an item not received claim on the 45th day after paying claiming the item hasnt been received yet fail to have contact you before hand asking where the item is!
It wasnt an expensive item £7 plus postage but it still just annoying - If it was me as a buyer I think I would have been asking where my item was after a week or so??
I have proof of postage as I do for all items so will fill in a royal mail claim form to day and send it off
Do ebay ever find in favour of the seller who has proof of postage? Especially when a buyer has lied on the resolution center details and left numerous other sellers neg/neutrals for items not received.

No, they never do and never should.0

well I think in some cases they should side with the seller - when the buyer has for example left lots of negs claiming an item hasnt been received, lies on the resolution centre thing saying they havent sent several emails with no response etc.
A buyer should have to email through the ebay mailing system to inquire where an item is before being able to open a dispute!0 -
Just for clarity it should be mentioned that there have been a number of glitches with ebay emails recently where recipients have not received emails that have been sent via ebay.
As for banning multiple claimers then my poor mother would struggle as her address seems to be a real blackspot for RM and couriers and she loses an awful lot of incoming post. I am also borderline in having to open a number of iNR claims, although am holding out to the last minute as I believe my post has gone a bit awry due to local difficulties, but if I was marked as a scammer purely because RM cannot get anyone to deliver here then I wouuld also be faciing suspension if i have to open claims for all my very very late/missing parcels.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You added the "left lots of negs" bit after I posted.
However, ebay don't have the time or personnel to look at buyer history.0 -
How would ebay prove they had bneen lying? They would have to employ extra staff for the adjudication system of yours which would cost money so fees would increase (I'm sure you'd moan about that)sunnysea83 wrote: »well I think in some cases they should side with the seller - when the buyer has for example left lots of negs claiming an item hasnt been received, lies on the resolution centre thing saying they havent sent several emails with no response etc.
Also if buyers have no confidence in there protection they will go elsehwere to buy so you will lose money that way.
In reality you have no proof your buyer is lying it's just your suspicions which may or may not be unfounded.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'
