Bought new stainless steel downlighters and they have a sticker saying wattage of bulbs stuck on them. Whats the best thing to get this sticky residue off when i take the stickers off.

Isopropyl alcohol if you have any is pretty harmless to most things.I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0

Betterware, Lakeland and some branches of Focus sell something called 'Sticky Stuff Remover' which unsurprisingly does as it says on the tin! Well, it's a bottle actually, but it's very good stuff, although it is about £4 for approx 200ml so not overly cheap. Does last ages though.0
