Their must be a way, coz it seems like buying a season ticket is the only way to save the bucks!
) is there an organisation i could join to see footie matches (its cheaper to see crappy teams but if i wanted to see man utd) where i could save because to me £60 a match for an hour an a half is quite extortionate.
any ideas?

Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

supply and demand
find a disabled friend who wants to go, be registered blind, pretend to be 7, go to Carling Cup games early in the season, find a lower league/non-league club who actually do need the money and watch them instead a much better day out0 -
Get a job as a steward, get a job like mine ( I have to go to footie matches with customers sometimes), join the police, do ground security, sell pies.;)0

I cant belive I missed this question.
Most clubs have a scale depending on the opponents, matches against Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, chelsea are normally top price tickets but games againts West ham, Fulham, Charlton etc are the lowest price tickets. The thing is everyone wants to go to the games against the top clubs so the demand is higher therefore the clubs put the prices up.
If you plan to go to a few matches a season most clubs opperate a membership scheme which give discounts on tickets.
Watching the early rounds in the cups are also a way most premiership clubs have to drag people through the door and do special offers £5 tickets but last season both clubs had to agree to the prices this year I think the FA ave put a minimum price on tickets of £15 to prevent the devaluation of the competitions. I know when bolton were in the uefa cup last year early round tickets were £5 and £10 I sold loads on the turnstile for those people just turning up on the night. again Bolton also sold tickets cheaper if you bought them in advanced.
Bolton sell disabled tickets at the normall price and their "helper" gets a free.
ticket.
With falling crowds this season you should also watch out for cheap games when clubs try to get people in for not alot. Bolton the other week sold adult tickets for £5 if a season ticket holder bought the ticket for a mate, again try to get bums on seats hopfully they will come again.
getting a job as as steward isnt the best option, turnstiles are better, you work till kickoff where a steward works all the match and you could be out of sight of the pitch. Its a good laugh I get paid to go to the Reebok watch the match for nothing as well as concerts that go on there. Ive seen Oasis twice, coldplay twice, the sugar babes, jules holland loads of bands some better than others.0 -
ummmm your jobs greatttt! haha. i have seen Charlton advertising to see them against lower league opposition at £15 and seeing Chartoln who are rock bottom of the table does not really excite me.

yes I'm sure your doctor would falsify a letter to help you get a cheaper ticket for a premiership game
maybe it's best you stick to Match of the day0 -
