Best online store for pet supplies

I am a new pet owner and looking to order in quite a few bits and pieces for my kitten. We don't live near many pet shops, and I have no idea where to get a good deal.

What would guy guys recommend as a good, reliable and good value online pet store for things like toys, cat litter, treats etc? The kitten is going completely bonkers and is already bored with the toys we had when he moved in a week ago!

thanks all x

I get most of my stuff from http://vetuk.co.uk

I mainly get dog stuff though but they do have lots of cat things too! You have to spend over £19 to qualify for free P&P.

Zooplus for cat trees and food.

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/shop/ for toys, they really are the best toys available (Da Bird is amazing) and the proceeds go to help independent cat rescues, winner all round.

I like zooplus - and do join topcashback for cash back on your orders. Plus zooplus give you points each time you buy which you can use to get freebies with on their site. Their delivery is very quick - much quicker than petsupermarket which has sometimes taken a week to deliver.
  • Hiya, this place doesn't do litter but I got my girlfriend's cat a couple of toys from https://www.mypetsuperstore.co.uk that I've not seen online before. Quick delivery too. Happy cat = happy girlfriend = happy me :)
  • Would also recommend the "purrs" site for toys.

Are you in to sign for deliveries? - this can make a huge difference as to where you can buy from - I've bought from Pet Planet, Pets @ Home, Viovet, VetUK, Online Pharmacy and all will leave a delivery without a signature being needed. Some places (like Zoo+) unfortunately won't.

Also, shop around before you buy things like litter and food as there's often offers on in different outlets (many places will price match if you need a "no signature" one).

I've been pricing a 10kg bag of dry food - prices range from £52 (vetuk) to £44 (online pharmacy) so def worth checking every time.

    Congrats on your new addition!

  • Here you go:

    http://www.oneclickpharmacy.co.uk/

Stumbled across it quite by chance as didn't realise it did pet stuff - but very good prices (as can be seen below)

zooplus leaves deliveries with my neighbours - any of them... no problems
  • What would happen if they weren't home/wouldn't take it?

Most of my neighbours work to so not really and option (a couple of retired people but couldn't guarantee they'd be in) - courier depot way to far to collect if there was no-one in unfortunately.:(

I did email Zoo+ and ask if they'd leave it in the garden shed (like all the ones I mentioned above & Royal Mail do quite happily) - obviously with me taking "responsibility" for it if it went missing - and they said no!
