Business idea for my friend?

I am coming late to this thread as I thought I would have a look around MSE before switching my computer off for the night.
Your friend needs to be passionate about what he wants to do - we cannot give him ideas those have to come from him. As Pennywise has said if he cannot think of an idea for himself then he is unlikely to succeed in business.
When you are self employed you have to do everything including thinking on your feet. I must admit that I love being my own boss but it sure isnt easy. I have been working since 8am this morning and it is now 23.08 according to the clock on my computer, I will be logging off soon and going to bed because I have to be up at 6am and out of the house at 6.50am to go networking to meet potential clients.
As Savvy Sue has suggested maybe it is the life outside of work that needs changing rather than the job itself?0
