My insurers have approved my claim and have offered a replacement laptop.
Any chance you nice techie people could take a look at the specs and let me know if it's a suitable like for like before I accept?
thanks
Mike

are the laptops you are talking about then it looks a reasonable exchange, not sure its the 'best' you can get for £700 but it improves on the spec of the previous laptop in every dept, which i guess is what you are wonderingDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
I spoke to the insurers and asked if I could change it for a desktop pc instead as I don't require a laptop anymore.
They said yes I but I need to tell them which make and model computer I would like and they would say if they could get it.
If my chosen pc is a little more expensive then I would have to pay the difference, which is fine as long as I can get the right pc.
Trouble is I don't really have a clue what I'm looking for so again could use some advice please.
I'm guessing since the laptop they offered is around the £700 mark then that must be the budget for a pc.
Any Ideas what I should ask for?
Oh and she said that they may not be able to get my chosen pc from certain places so I should try "buyitdirect.co.uk" as they usually deal with them.
thanks
