I'd like to offer a man's view on this

Please take a moment to remember that there's very little in the wedding day which is about us. We cough up a frightening amount of money to make the day special and one of the very few little touches you ladies can provide for us to make us feel special is to ensure you're wearing something skimpy when that wedding dress comes off.

Oh you sound like my OH! Tried to tell him last night to get real - I'm not wearing sexy underwear ALL DAY which is going to be uncomfy and give me unsightly lines in my dress. If I can be bothered, I'll change into something sexy in the room at the end of the night.
Stockings or not will depend on my shoes - but I'd rather not wear any.Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93
Crazy Clothes Challenge # 103 - £84/£200 £30 Coat/£12 shirt/£23 jeans/£6 t-shirt/£13 2 x tops

Can I second that :rotfl:Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
thats right, you poor men are dragged down the ailse against your will, and spend all of your money and us little women are so terribly greatful,
and after we have done our wifely "duties" in our skimpy underwear you should go back to work clubbing animals over the head or whatever it is you do while we join a sewing circle and talk about how fluffy kittens are....

This illustrates my point perfectly ....made in another thread...about the differences between men and women and bridal underwear...
The girls opt for the suck in pants spanex and anything that gives the dress a seemless look...the men want the frills thats dont hold anything in the right place....
Boys its time you learnt...a girl needs to look good on her wedding day...so will opt for industrial underwear...perhaps you could buy her something for the honeymoon....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
A timely tip for the men folks... Attractive underwear is a lot more alluring when it's fresh on than when it's been worn under a hot dress all day!
Best left till the evening IMHO

I bought those too, the blue ribbon on the top was too pretty!I wore the Jasper Conran bridal hold-ups from Debenhams and they stayed up all day. Plus they don't get in the way when you pee (which is enough of a challenge on its own :rotfl:):grinheart It's Mrs Coupon now - saving and comping my way to a brighter future :grinheart0 -
It's up to you but I find that shoes tend to rub without tights/stockings plus I found tights that slimmed down my thighs without making me resort to bridget jones knickers really boasted my confidence:kisses3: Married 29th September 2012

Seeing as I'm wearing strappy sandals:

Then I won't be wearing anything.
I will however take to fake tanning my legs (with some sort of body glow summer sun moisturiser thing) to try to disguise all the bruises on them from where kids swing their legs and accidently kick me! (I hope to be wearing a short knee length dress).0
