Electric comparisons
I have recently done searches for my electric to look at changing to a fixed price tariff and every one i have gone on is showing Scottish Power as being my cheapest one to go with till Dec '15.
But didnt scottish power just put their prices up and these sites are out of date even though they say they have been updated on 8th june ?
As i got a quote direct from scottish power and that was over £400 more than the comparison sites where saying. I am with british gas Web saver 10. Using 14927 Kwh a year in east midlands, using electricity only.
Should i agree to thiese comparison sites at this tariff or are they wrong and ill end up paying more. any advice would be appreciated as im unsure what is the best course of action for myself

I haven't checked today but yesterday for SP OES12 , energlylinx was showing current prices, uswitch was showing aug 1st prices.
You need to compare the details ( eg. prices per kwh ) on the comparison site to the rates published on the suppliers site.0 -
I've just input your data on energyhelpline using an EM postcode, and EDF FSv2 is the cheapest fixed tariff, but still £41 more than your current one. SP is £382 more.No free lunch, and no free laptop
