your best bet is to process the DVD as an ISO then burn it using DVD Decrypter. last version of this incredibleeeeee and world changing software is like 3.5.4.0

download that. and use it coz when burning DVD ISOs to discs, theres nothing better.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"
  • Did this work for you, as I have the same problem.

It does work, I had a similar problem a while back and created a disk image rather than burn it to dvd then used nero to burn the iso file.

Just remember to tidy up after or you will have 4gb files littering up your hard drive
  • Can you tell me how to do it in simple terms please. Update though - I have just burnt it yet again and I have the vidro but no sound. ????

I have just started using DVDShrink and copied a few discs to test it out.
I have Nero installed so it does the whole thing in one simple process. Copies encodes and then burns. I leave it working overnight so as to use optimum resources otherwise I found it slowed everything down.

Could it just have been something as simple as a duff disk?

In DVD Shrink Open the disk that you are creating a back up of.

Click backup and in the Select Backup Target options box rather than choose a dvd drive choose ISO Image file.

When that has finished go to Nero and under Copy and Backup choose Burn Image to disk
  • ok, I'm just doing that as we speak and it is encoding it.......

  • Right done that and followed the instructions to Nero, when I put in my DVD+RW it spat it out saying it wasn't comptiable and it wanted a CD-r. So I put that in but said it didn't have enough memory. the disk is 700mb and the file is 870????? any ideas.
