Can anyone recommend a good and cheap conveyancing firm

We are just looking to sell at the moment, I've heard online companies are worth a look at but don;t know where to start?? Any advice appreciated!

We had the nightmare transaction from hell with our online company. The sale fell through and it took us 8 months to get our paperwork back and then we had to report them to whoever the governing body is.

I use someone awesome in March in Cambridgeshire - whereabouts are you in the country, i'm sure someone near you will be able to make a recommendation.

I'd focus more on "good" than "cheap", you're selling a valuable asset with serious financial implications, not trying to find the cheapest way to sell an iPod on eBay. Go with local recommendations (not estate agent's) from friends and family.

You should read the reviews on this forum concerning internet conveyancing factories - better to get a local recommendtaion from friends and work colleagues.
