I had something else reserved at Currys and when I went to collect it, the bloke said "Smoothie Maker is it!" so I conclude there has been a lot of interest in it!0

Gits! I reserved one and got a call from the MK store yesterday morning saying they didn't have any in stock!:mad:Louisa_Jane wrote:Just looked, they've got them at Milton Keynes!
Will try and see if they have one in stock today.MFIT No. 810 -
Apparently their system is new and this means you can order the last one in the store even if that includes the one on display - I sent my mother who was shopping in the city on the errand to pick this up for me so she went into the local Currys where the last blender in the whole of Norwich was located with my order code.
As I had reserved it earlier that day I didn;t think they'd be a problem but the man proceeded to tell my mum that the only one left was the display item and he couldn't sell that as it may be missing parts!!??!!?!?!?! My mother (a consumer champion) posed some difficult questions and battered the man into admitting they had some in another local store (which didn't show on the website!) so off there to collect it - Surely they should refund my petrol for all of this aggro.
Anyway the moral of all this is that it might be worth calling your local stores if you REALLY want one as there may be one not showing on their system? Incidentally this thing could never really have sold at £60 could it? Still a good deal but only worth £30-40 originally?Tesco is my second home:j0 -
Just picked mine up from Currys in Guiseley. Last one on the shelf with price showing £59.99!!! No problems getting it for £13.98. Thanks very much.0

A great find thanks op. My local store had them on display at £29.99. Even the staff were shocked at the £14.98 price when I came in with reservation and asked me how I knew about it.0

There is one at TJ Hughes for £20. Don't know if it's the same model or not.
