Smoothie maker makes smoothies from frozen or cut up fruits, whereas I think a blender will only blend together already semi liquid components.
I hope someone else backs me up on this....0 -
Reserved mine when I came on hear earlier on, popped into Currys just before closing as I was out collecting a light from a store two away.
My printer wasn't connected, so I just wrote down the reservation number and price etc. half expecting to be quoted the full price when I got there, but sure enough she asked for the price stated and it was waiting at customer services for me.
Haven't opened it all up yet, but it looks lovely from the box. Thanks again for posting this, I'm well pleased.

WRT to smoothie maker V Blender, I can make smoothies in my blender using frozen fruit, no problem, but I think it depends very much on the quality of your blender. Mine is integral in my expensive Kenwood Chef (that I paid £20 for on ebay!). A cheaper blender may well not do the frozen stuff!
I'm tempted by this offer cos it is a smaller footprint than the Kenwood chef so easier to keep out all the time without taking up half the kitchen workspace (or easier to take in and out of the cupboard frequently than the heavy chef!)0 -
Great - was out of stock at our local store last night; checked this morning and there it was! Reserved one - thanks.0

Any ideas what the difference is between a juicer and a smoothie? I've got mine reserved, is this a juicer as well?0 -

Nope, they do exactly the same. If you already have a decent blender I wouldn't bother with this, they're just more awkward to clean!0 -
just had a call from currys saying my collect instore is not available and no where has them  either a load of horse !!!! and there making calls so they dont get stumped on the price and there gonna be back instock at the new and dearer price in a few days.or they have just saved me a wasted trip and a mid shop rant

I reserved one for my little sister (Cheetham Hill branch, near Manchester). Picked it up very easily - there was a pile of about 12 behind the CS desk. I walked in, handed over my reservation, handed over the cash and walked out. Couldn't have gone smoother!
