Quickest Bank Account

Options
Are there any bank accounts that can give you an instant answer on whether you are accepted or not? I need a new bank account & need a s/c & acc details asap so my wages can be paid in this month. The quicker the better.

If you go into a branch of nearly any bank and go through the a/c opening procedure they should be able to give you an answer there and then provided you have all the right ID.

If you go into a branch of Metro Bank in London with the required ID you can walk out with a working debit card.

Natwest will open you an account pretty much on the spot if you got to a branch with the correct ID

The bank may give you the account number etc there and then however bare in mind the account could
be subsequently closed afterwards (Natwest AVU springs to mind here).
