In credit - can we switch?

At the moment we are over £600 in credit on our dual fuel account. We are thinking of switching - what happens to this credit if we switch?

Do you really mean in credit? i.e. that you have overpaid by £600?

If so, after the switch, they will produce a final bill and any resulting overpayment will be returned to you.

If you mean in debit, i.e. you owe the supplier £600 then you will probably be prevented from switching.

Yes I really do mean that we are in credit!! Could believe it when we looked - what a difference a new boiler makes! We'll get on with switching!
