Bad feeling about Ebay sale

Hi, I just sold something on Ebay that you could say falls in to the high risk category and value is £100. The buyer registered 3 days ago and only has a mobile number in his contact information, he is from the UK.

Is there anything I can do other than photo serial numbers and send it by courier, correctly insured and tracked.

Is the address in paypal confirmed - if it is then you have a modicum of protection regarding chargebacks.

If you send it by a trackeable means (reliable) and adequately insured you are reasonably protected against INR

Nothing will protect you from the bogus SNAD claim though...by all means take note of the serial numbers but paypal / ebay will ignore those. You would have to try and recover funds via small claims court.

Thanks Guys, Paypal say its ok to send and I have sent it tracked and insured. That's about all I can do.
I will post back here with the outcome.

Update - within a couple of days of receiving the item the buyer emailed to say he is happy with it.

    So far so good?.

Nope, +tive feedback and emails acknowledging delivery are ignored by Ebay claims. Keep all paperwork for 6 months, after which buyer hasn't much hope of comeback even via a chargeback from their CC company.

Hi, yeah I know the score. Been an Ebay seller for years, but had a bad feeling about this one. I'm as prepared as can be.
