Just be prepared for it to take ages..:rotfl:

I don't mind at all, tanith! It's less than a third of the usual cost, and I get my hair cut every 4 weeks or so. Fingers crossed it turns out ok :-)
From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!

big thumbs up for me for the college year 3s doing my hair, they did a fabulous job on mine, and it only cost £8 :T.
I'm seriously considering asking them to cut my daughter's very long curly hair, as she has a trauma every time I take her to a proper hairdressers - they either insist on trying to drag a fine tooth comb through it , or pulling the whole length of it with straighteners. She is in tears every time sitting in the chair.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but if you live near the centre why don't you find out about the academies like Toni and Guy or similar? Works out much cheaper and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. The best blow-dry I ever had was from a trainee stylist at a normal (non-academy) Toni and Guy. I'm also one of those people who does not suit flat, straight hair (I have a long face, I don't need that accentuated!!) and she got it spot on; I tried to rebook with her for just a blow dry but they wouldn't let me because she was a trainee! VERY ANNOYING.
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
