noticed in the local store that the sale prices are appearing on backs of labels in pencil. Seem to be shorthand this year in our store compared to previous years i.e. £9.99 item has A5 written on it so guess sale price will be £4.99, i.e. 1p less than figure quoted on label

If anyone is going into a store today, could they have a look to see if the childrens dinosaur rug is going to be in the sale please? (ie if it has a pencil mark on the back of the tag!)

Prices are going to be straight pounds - eg £5, £10 etc no pennies involved anymore !

What does this mean.......................

It means that they arent available, but keep trying as they may get more stock or people might return the items you are after... its worth trying after a week or so as quite often they get more stock.
