I rang Next customer service just now. They said vip slots were done randomly , so i asked for one. They said no!!I told them i have had one before etc but they werent having it. I am left feeling paranoid now:(

Ummmm my neighbour tried this............

Click on https://www.next.co.uk/vipsale ,, follow the instructions ie. account no. and choose slot times and click on Register.... no luck....
then ring the 0845 no. as instructed in the new window, and inform the nice lady,, that you have received their vip e-mail but having difficulty registering...
She will then ask you for your account no. and e-mail address.. and allow it to go through.... so you will be able to register without any probs.

Does anyone know what the delivery is like for sales goods . I normally have them next day via courier. Will it be just after Xmas or will they send them out before. My time is Friday PM

Hmmm I couldn't blag it even though I said I'd got an email and the website wasnt accepting my account number.

The lady said my details weren't on the list. Oh well.

With all these VIP slots going out does it mean that the listings will appear from tomorrow or Thursday??

I'm new to the site but a seasoned pro with the Next Sale.

I spend about £1000 a year there (I buy for family/friends on my account to make sure I get VIP status).

I didn't get an invite this year and I ended up speaking to 4 different people about it. I tried being nice, pushy, sneaky and everything else I could think of but I got told the following;

Next are fed up with the same people getting an invite every year and others sneaking in via the not so secret link. Criteria used to be cost but they decided to change it to open it up to everyone with an online account so people didn't miss out. From now on it will be done completly by random, one sale you'll get picked and then the next one maybe not. The Web team are given a list of those who are invited and so they will double check if you are on that list before offering to help book a slot. They also stagger the invites so the web team don't get flooded. So it maybe you are going to get one but you have it 24 hours after the first one went out and you can't have a good choice of slots.

I was really annoyed and said they should have written and told these 'same people' it was changing this year but they didn't see my point.

I suppose I'll have to stand in the cold on 27th like everyone else because as I said to them if you wait until 27th and do it online evrything decent has gone to the VIP's. They didn't even bother answering that one as I think they knew I was right.

Hope that helps people who are feeling (like me) rejected, there is nothing you can do now to make sure you get one, except maybe boycot, but I doubt that will have an impact as they'll always have more people than VIP spaces!

hello! Anyone figured out if items can be ordered outside of the vip slots by changing the codes like last time? This has been my first year without an invite and ive been far too busy to do anything about it !
