We have teamed up with UMTV and Slade to offer you the ultimate Christmas prize package.
More on Slade and their new single
Anyone old enough to remember the Christmas of 1973, will have tender memories of opening up their Chopper Bike or Mastermind game to the song that has been seasonal favourite ever since. Slade's Merry Xmas Everybody, originally steamed to the top of the Chart in that year, and now thirty three years later, UMTV have re-released the million selling song which is out now.
The song needs no introduction - Merry Xmas Everybody is Christmas! You can put the decorations up, traipse the shops, it isn't until you hear this song that you really get into the Christmas spirit.
The two-track version, released throughout the UK on 4th December, will include the title track plus their anthemic track, !!! On Feel The Noize. On the same day, their Very Best Of Album, a definitive collection containing all their classics and 14 Top 10 singles will also be released, as well as the companion DVD featuring rare and previously unavailable footage.
One lucky winner will receive: a UMTV Xmas Hamper including Slade albums, singles, DVDs of It's A Wonderful Life, The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Snowman/Father Christmas double set, new UCJ Christmas album, plus various other Christmas albums, a decent bottle of red wine, another of white, and a decent bottle of champagne, plus various M & S food goodies.
