Think my LHA is wrong - what do I do?

I am currently out of work and I claim income based JSA of £67 per week and Local Housing Allowance of £136 per fortnight, i.e. 68 per week. My rent is £500 per calendar month so £115 per week, and that covers all household bills & council tax. (The only bill I am responsible for is the broadband as the computer is mine & live-in-landlady uses her mobile internet & not the broadband.)
I have been looking today at EntitledTo and DirectGov and have found that both sites have said my LHA should be more than what I get. They both calculated my LHA as £165 per week and EntitledTo directs you a site called HBUpdate (as HB rules are changing) and that says my entitlement is £130 per week. Double what I currently get basically!
Should I contact the council and ask for my LHA to be recalculated? Would they do this? Or would I need to stop my claim and make a new one? If it turns out it is an error on their part, will they pay the difference?
I've done the calculations on all of these sites more than once in case I've made errors, but am coming up with the same figures each time.
I'm desperate to get off benefits anyway and with any luck I won't be relying on them for much longer - 20 job apps today so far!

Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

As DMG says you would only be entitled to the shared room rate. Also I would have thought the council would have removed a certain amount for the included household bills ie gas, electricity etc. Not sure if this is the case just my thinking as surely they wouldn't pay for those when others who have their own home are expected to pay those bills themselves.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011
