Coop to Rias
Ive been with the Coop for my car insurance for donkeys years.
Last week I got a renewal quote for £239.00 So I rang Rias, they found me and identical quote for £169. £70 is a lot of money.
I then rang Coop and they said lo and behold, they could reduce it to £209. Still £40 over so I will probably go with Rias, apparently it is a quote from Aegis (sp) and I have scoured the small print, nothing different to what I have with Coop.
Anyone got any positives for them............

What price peace of mind, i know nothing of RIAS but is £40 worth the gamble.
As a former long term customer of Coop i found them superb when i had 2 non fault claims...they dealt with everything and the cheque for the write off value of my car reflected it's excellent well maintained condition without any negotiation.
I'm with NFU now who are indeed every bit as good and similarly old fashioned, but would go back to Coop without hesitation.
Many people say their insurance companies are OK, when they really mean that their company takes their money without quibble and gives them a policy as a receipt, it's only in the event of a claim that you find out if the paper is worth anything.0 -
I think its worth a shot really, my home insurance is coming up shortly too so I'll let them quote for that.
