There are separate entrances for General Admission and allocated seating, so you have to go to your part of the stadium and they scan your ticket as you go through.
Having said that, in the Beautiful World Tour (the one before the Circus), I managed to walk past the security on the way back from the toilets and walk straight to the front of the arena.0 -
Hi, I have booked tickets for a friend and I to take our three girls - they are so excited! But now I have lots of questions... If the main show is at 8.30 what time will it end? Will we be allowed to take in food and drink - bottled water and snacks? Any tips on where to park? Somewhere we will be able to get out of to make the (long!) journey home? Any pointers on somewhere to eat before the show - in the ground? Or near by?
So many questions - any help gratefully received!0 -

Pet shop boys starts at 7.00pm
Take that start at 8.15pm ( just looked at my video of the countdown clock)
On sunday night we was leaving the ground at 10.30pm
Food and drink are not allowed to be taken into the ground, and bags are searched, although this was a bit hit n miss, and my friend walked in with the bottle of water that she'd bought outside.
We ate our food outside before we went in.
You can buy drinks inside,
a pint if £4
bottle of wine £18
Burget £4.50
That's all i can remember,
A good car park is the Grange community centre
postcode M11 3TQ it's only £5 to park, and a 3 min walk from the ground, and easy access to leave after the concert, i found this information out on tripadvisor.0 -
Something not too expensive! We will need to collect our tickets before 5.30, and maybe kill some time as they won't want to sit and wait for 3 hours for the big show! So we could walk somewhere near-ish - won't want to move the car if I do find somewhere to park nearby! Planning a picnic in the car on the way home...0

There is a mcdonalds over the road, should you wish to visit that, some people do, and there is a massive Asda.
but to be honest if the weather is nice, it's just exciting walking round the ground, we did and near the beer tent, there is a video screen showing old take that videos.
Your time will soon pass.
We arrived at 5.00pm on sunday night and time passed quickly.0 -

The show finished at 10.40 on Saturday night, I think there is a post about parking earlier in this thread - a community centre which is outside the 'Roads Closed' zone so you can get straight out. when I went, no-one was checking for food/drinks. I took a bottle of water in, and lots of people were walking in with carrier bags from the merchandise stalls - no-one was checking these so you could easily put some food in an 'official' carrier bag. I noticed chip vans etc on the way out, not sure if they were open on the way in - we were staying overnight in Manchester, so checked into our hotel, went for a mid-afternoon meal in the city centre then headed over to the ground. There didn't seem to be anything in the way of restaurants etc near the ground itself.0 -
Is it a reputable website? I've never heard of it0 -
Just one more question - promise! I am looking at the area of the postcode for the community centre parking - do you recall which road it was on? My navigator will need specific instructions! Thanks again for your help so far...0
