When we was there on sunday night it had rained and the main stage was very wet, infact robbie said he was worried about slipping on it, so he sang most of his songs on the walkway.
Maybe that's the reason why.0 -
What time does it actually start?? Not sure can get there for 4pm....is 4pm doors open?
Pet Shop Boys are on at 7.30 and Take That at 8.30ishSaint_Chris wrote: »When we was there on sunday night it had rained and the main stage was very wet, infact robbie said he was worried about slipping on it, so he sang most of his songs on the walkway.

That would make sense, although would have thought that would be slippy too as at least the stage has some protection. On the opening night it started raining about 2 minutes before they came on but luckily stopped about 2 songs in. It was typical on the 3 days I went it was bitterly cold, on the 4th show the sun came out with a vengance!
Its a great show isnt it, not as good as last tour but people are still in for a treat. I'm coming from Newcastle to see it again as I'm having Jason withdrawals!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member No 2 :j

Bubbles911, yeah i don't think anything will beat the circus tour, the year before we enjoyed the end when they was on the treadmill.
I remember going around 10 years ago, at some small arena in manchester, i would have gone this weekend but my mum is 70 and were having a birthday weekend.............lol0 -
The whole theme of the Circus was fantastic, but the Robbie factor makes this one special in it's own right!

Thanks OP! I've just booked 2! Do you defo pick them up on the day, as my email states '
Tickets will be despatched as soon as possible, but may not be received until the week of the eventact them or just still . If your tickets haven't arrived 48 hours before the event, please contact us.
' so do I contturn up and pick them up on Sat?
Also, does anyone know, it states that it starts at 4pm. Does anyone know the actual time it starts and finishes (roughly), we're deciding whether or not to find somewhere to stay or if we won't be heading home too late.0 -

Thanks, I took so long to type my post out that I didn't see this get posted! Wow, doors opening at 4 are really early, I don't want to get there too early!0 -
omg I am so tempted. Do you reckon you could just go in the standing area with these tickets or is it completely separate?0

Is it suitable to take an 11 year old? Shes never been to a concert and is dying to go and she seems to really like Take That. I've been to the stadium many times so I can appreciate the seats and such and I've even wangled 5 kids around some very rowdy football supporters, But is the content of the concert suitable?0

There were a few children who looked about 11 where I was, and that was at the front of the standing area - v congested! I would imagine you would be absolutely fine where you have an allocated seat. There is nothing unsuitable in the content of the concert in my opinion.0
