Has anyone used Ecotricity?

Can't see how the prices can go up, if they are creating their own energy?

    Yes.
They don't generate all their 'own energy' (only a small percentage, about 30%), and that still has to be distributed and maintained. The production cost is not the only cost of the retail product.
Ecotricity simply price match in each region to the DNO's standard tariff, they're not going to be the cheapest supplier anywhere.
They have a relatively generous FIT tariff, which is why I stick with them.
