another fence paint question!

Options
they have some paint in wilkos that is indoor paint that supposedly paints wood metal and walls etc, now its in very pretty colours which would be nice to paint my "recycled bed/ framed trellis creation:p
will it be ok to use outside, its a lot cheaper than getting the culpinol and more variety in the shades?
or am i just being a skinflint and need to buy the specialist fence/shed paint:o
ps gutted as the aldi paint was ace but they have none in again-i check each week:(

I've used bathroom paint outside before and that's lasted well, does the paint say it's suitable for kitchens or bathrooms?

Personally I would always opt for the paint recommended for whatever it is to be used on and the conditions it will be under. If the trellis is to be in an exposed area subject to the elements then an indoor paint is likely to fade sooner and the wood become damp and rotten. Why not give your creation a good start and a long life with the right paint otherwise it could be a false economy.
  • it was an acrylic emulsion like the kitchen ones but for all areas plus metal and wood but it said indoors.
it probably would work but i may settle for the wilkos buttercup fence paint although ideally i wanted white or turquoise.
i do have turquoise, pink and cream pots on the shed now so i wanted it to carry on the colours from that either through paint on with the plants. the natural wood at the moment looks rubbish though especially as the trellis i bought is a different shade entirely:o
Ive looked for white stable paint online but cant find any thats not an insane price and im fed up of waiting for aldi to restock:(
i may be attaching a mirror panel to the reverse end of it to make my secret garden look more interesting- in theory, oh thinks ive lost the plot:)
