To get the best from your money, buy nearly new and shove the £ you save in a high interest savings account.

? Correct, but the cas quoted are only 5 months old and one year old. Manaufacturers warranty is generally three years if the service record has been kept up to date which it is with lease cars, but not always with Joe Public who wants to save pennies and goes to Kwik Fit, Acme Motor spares etc.
I have bought from auction for 20 years and would never by from Joe public.0 -

This has just won car of the year.
Forddirect (http://www.ford.co.uk/ns7/ford_direct/-/-/-/-/-/-) do their nearly new models of this for ,£17k and going on our recent experience with another ford you should be able to get at least £1,500 extra off as well.
Very nice to drive and a true 7 seater.
You really seem to get lots for your money with ford at the mo and they are reliable and aftercare pretty damn good in our experience.

I'd go the auction route every time. Just be careful what you are buying. You pay an indemnity so the vehicle is checked for HPi Theft V-car etc. When checking the sales info in the window, make sure car has come from main agent direct; you don't want anything that has been through a traders hands, not unless you know the game anyway. Go and have a look around, check your prices and the savings. Then its just a matter of sticking your hand in the air, have a budget though and stick to it, don’t forget the auctioneer is there to make money as well and he may be trotting you up a bit and don’t forget to add the indemnity into your costing.
Good luck0
