How to find the best deal without knowing your tariff?

Hi all
I've spent the last couple of years moving in and out of shared rental accommodation but bought a one bed flat at the end of March. The flat I've bought has an EDF pre-payment meter. I had never used one before and I know it is an expensive way to pay electricity and EDF had said they would swap me to an ordinary meter and payment schedule if I wanted. I didn't have the time to do anything about it until now.
I probably do want to go for an ordinary meter rather than the prepay but I have no idea what tariff to go for. In the 2 months I've been in the flat I've used about £30 of electricity (there is no gas). I'm in the flat on my own so presume I'm a low user anyway. My last utilities account was when I was with my partner up to Sept 2009 but that wouldn't equate to what I use on my own.
Most of the comparisons want you to put in what you use but I just want the cheapest deal I can find as a relatively new user. Any ideas?
