does BG HomeCare300 cover scaling?

i think my boiler got scale. i got BG HomeCare300 cover but they said it doesnt cover scale on the boiler. i checked the uswitch.com website and even the HomeCare 200 covers scaling. is this true?

    damage caused by limescale is only covered after you have paid BG fortunes to do a powerflush.

    did a google on sentinel x200 and the stuff seems good. just wondering how it all work (in terms of the chemical)

    All that I can say is that I treated my system back in May and was very sceptical that it would really work but it did. X200 can be left in the system i.e. does not need to be drained out and flushed like the more powerful acidic de-scalers do. If you have a header tank, drain off enough so that the one litre of X200 goes directly into the system rather than sitting in the header tank. It did take a few weeks but definitely de-scaled and silenced my system.
