Help with an ebay transaction needed please

Hi everyone
I recently sold a few bits and pieces we had in our loft on ebay to raise some cash. They have all been ok until today when I had an email from a buyer about a pc monitor he bought. He says that the power lead we sent with it won't fit. When we listed the item we powered it up and took a picture of it working. I also sold another monitor and thought maybe the leads had mistakenly been switched but I have had feedback from that buyer that everything is fine so it can't be that. I also thought most monitor leads were universal anyway? I found a copy of the manual online and have sent him the link for that just incase he is trying to plug it in the wrong socket.
The buyer is asking that I send the correct lead but I can't as I have no leads here to send. What should I do now? Should I request that he returns the monitor and I issue a refund (it was only a low cost item so postage was nearly as much as the item cost)? If he does who pays for delivery?
Sorry to ramble on but I'm confused as to what to do next.

Send him £2 to cover the cost of buying a new kettle lead.

It's possible but unlikely, but still possible the two are different.
"Kettle leads" come in two types, high temperature, for kettles and other appliances, and low temperature, for everything else.

The high temperature have a a shape C15, so a plug needs a slot in it to plug into the matching socket.
Monitors normally use C13, with no slot.
So you can't plug a low temperature lead into a high temperature appliance, but you can plug a high temperature lead into a low temperature appliance.
If the monitors were different, (shouldn't be, but it depends on what was cheap when they built them), and you swopped the leads, only one customer will notice.

Or he could just be trying to plug it into the d type socket.

The end he says that won't fit is the end that plugs into the monitor from the power convertor box, i thought it was a standard dc plug. I haven't heard anything back since sending him the manual this morning so hopefully it is all sorted.

If he continued to have problems ask for a picture of the plug and the socket
