The plum thing got me thinking - is there a website that says which fruit is best from which country at which times of year does anyone know? I had no idea that southern hemisphere plums were a no-go at the moment and I bet there are loads of other things like that I should be looking out for.
I work in the industry so every day involved in buying and selling of wholesale product,down the years just expierence tells me when is in season and when it is not. Try this chart which is ne from a large foodservice comapny but will give you some more idea what is in season and when !
