Hi, I'm sorry to hijack your post but can't find any other post that helps. How do you find economy 10? Is it a good deal over standard tariffs? What hours is it on?
I currently have all electric heating and water on a std tarrif and it's horrific in price - we have electric wet heating (radiators and underfloor heating).
All advice welcome or point me to a relevant post.0 -
E10 is often a legacy tariff, but the odd supplier (e.g. E.on) may offer a version - theres lots of different versions
Most suppliers will not entertain new customers.
You need to call them for details of the tariff (or it may be on their website) - often you need special metering, special wiring and even special appliances to take advantage of E10.
To answer the OP - I didn't know ther was a capped rate for E10, but if your supplier offered it, then I guess you could opt for it."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
