Hi,
I am currently in credit with my energy provider and considering switching, where do I stand for getting the amount in credit refunded if I do switch?

They will return the balance. Eventually. If there is a hic-cough, it may take a while - but with prices on the up and cheap tariffs disappearing if you have reason to change tariff then do so sooner rather than later.
Make sure you keep a note of readings, keep a note of start readings and changeover readings and make sure you don't lose the information. And make sure you don't spend or budget for having the money back in your pocket before it is.0 -
