Gas Central Heating - from scratch

ok - so we are due to get our keys to our new house in just over 3 weeks time. now, the house that we are moving into doesn't have any GCH, only electric. My partner and a work friend of his are prepared to install radiators etc... to save us a bit of cash when it comes to installing the GCH but obviously will have to get in the needed people for boiler etc... but that's a whole different story altogether!

ANYWAYS!

we're in scotland and i was wondering is there any other reliable companies to go with for getting our mains gas installed? i don't have a clue where to start on this and because move day is imminent i'd rather get it sorted sooner than later. we have alternative accommodation to be in whilst the GCH is being seen to.
