Anybody notice a fault in the forum software?
Quoting a previous post (in Firefox) sometimes mixes up the quotes in certain posts.
Second time I've seen it.
Might be worth letting an MSE moderator know about this.0 -

I've not noticed it using IE7, does it only happen in FF? I think the entire site is getting a revamp anyway (already in the works)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

make you own antenna booster

1. Download Template
2. Open in MS Paint and resize as desired. Ensure that you on the diagram square.
3. Print image on business card stock or acetate .
4. Cut it out and open the six slots with sissors or an X-Acto knife.
5. Glue tin foil to the back side of the reflector surface
6. Assemble by placing the six tabs in the six slots.0 -
Thanks for the advice, however the situation has changed somewhat. Now the only working BT socket is too far away from the study with 2 desktop computers and we can't figure out how to get them to connect to the internet....
maybe this diagram could help explain things.....
All would work if the linksys could connect to the voyager network via wireless, and then connect via ethernet to the 2 desktops, and bringing them into the network too
Dunno how and if this is possible tho

ps am exploring the WDS thingy0 -
The WRT54G does not support repeater mode. Why not just extend the BT line to where you want to use the PC's? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

i think that if the BT line is extended to the PCs, then the laptop will get bad wireless reception. of course, that problem is slightly easier to solve with extra antennae, but both the bt voyager and the laptop do not have removable (exchangeable) antenna....
nevermind can always move laptop around
update
in the end, i updated the firmware with a third party one and am using WDS:D
thanks!0
