LTSB - is this a good sign ?

Hi

I filled in and sent off the forms from this site with regards to claiming back PPI from loans I have had in the past all with LTSB. I only half heartedly filled them in as I wasn't convinced I had taken it out. Anyway within 4 days I had a letter back saying the one loan didn't have PPI on it, which is fine I was expecting this.
Then, today I have a letter about another loan saying that they are investigating my complaint. Does this mean that I had PPI ? Surely otherwise they would send me the same letter as the first.

I'm confused. Also just started with the credit cards but as they were all so long ago I didn't have any account numbers, so have just wrote to them asking for my details. Is this ok ?
Thanks
sarah

    Hi Sarah

Yes, going from what they have said there is one without and investigating on the other so there seems to be ppi on that one, they will look into this for you.

You could also try calling into the local branch, if you bank with them, they will want your normal bank account number to get into other accounts you taken out with them.

Also email addy to the Customer team here.

    Good luck

Thanks for that, am abit wary as I didn't put much on the form just that I had full time employment and would be covered in the event of sickness or accident.

What could they tell me over e-mail ? what are chances of success ?

    Am also from Gwent !!

    Hiya
From my neck of the woods then, well I say Gwent but its more on the Torfaen side of it.:D

You could maybe write/email and ask them to look into your credit card account, tell them you require the account number, give them as many details as possible, although they may say to contact the local branch.

Well hopefully you will have success with your reasons, keep at them, if they require more information they will possibly ask you to supply it before the 8 weeks.;)
