Drinking a bottle of Hoegaarden. Not bad at all but it is basically a fruity shandy. Not a mans drink so thank god I'm not a man :beer:0

Hubby loves it

What is a "man's drink"? A bit stereotypical
Hoegaarden would probably be the beer equivalent of asking for an appletini (Scrubs reference). I'm not a major beer fan and need to have lemonade added to sweeten it so with this being roughly the same price per litre as WKD (my post-pregnancy tipple) and 100 points to boot, I think I'll stock up tomorrow.0 -
Just ordered some wine by the case and got the best bargain ever:
6 bottles of Muscat de Beaumes de Venise (half) usuallly £33 for the six. But it comes with 900 booster points. That's a total of 966 points including the usual 2 points per £1 spent. I'll turn that it to rewards worth £28.98. That means each bottle will only cost me 67p. Unbelievably great value and i do love a nice dessert wine!
Also order 6 bottles of Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Blue Top Champagne for £170.94 which came with 4500 booster points. Doing the same maths, that comes to £4.29 per bottle!
I'm throwing a BBQ in a couple of weeks so this is really going to come in handy. Plus I am taking my partner and his family out for a birthday meal the next day so will be able to buy that meal with the rewards points. I am in Moneysaving ecstasy!!!!0 -
You do know that if you do a tescopricecheck.com because Asda are doing it at £19 a bottle you get a £10.99 refund per bottle? So a single bottle should cost £19 with 840 points added. 840 points are worth £25.20.Benjamin_Joseph wrote: »Also order 6 bottles of Heidsieck & Co. Tesco pay you £6.20 (£19 less £25.20) to drink the Heidsieck.0 -
