thats the beauty of real wood, it will always look different. one idea have you tried liming wax, may not be the finish you want. another good treatment i use on all my wood is briwax http://www.briwax.co.uk/ i have in the past used liberon stain and wax as well to try and get an even colour finishDiv 1 Play Off Winners 2007

On good timber doors I couldn't agree more. But not poor quality timber doors from the 1930's with plywood panels.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
