The recipes were in the Mail on Saturday about 2 weeks ago. The chocolate christmas cake was yummy. If you do not get any success online I can see if I still have the Mail at home if there is a particular recipe you are after.

It's pure food !!!!!!! No measurements! no oven temperatures!

Just sidelong glances over the spice jar and plenty of 'adverb adjectival noun' descriptions.

Yes, of course I watch it. I want to cook my friends poussins too!
  • Here's a link to all Nigella's recipes to accompany this Xmas series.

Part of the Furniture Name Dropper Combo Breaker
the chocolate-peanut-butter-cups she made last night has been in her "how to be a domestic goddess" book for a while, although there, its made as bars rather than as cups.

She says there: "I don’t know if you’ve ever eaten Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but these are a homespun version of them. And if you discount melting the chocolate (which in any case the microwave can do) there is no cooking involved. You may think that seeing how the dough is made – just peanut butter, butter and sugar – might put you off eating them. Sadly not."

Anyway.. having eaten reese's peanut buttercups i can confirm that this is just like those.. and i imagine that these little cups (as opposed to the bars i made) are even more like those.. very, very yummy and moreish!

I love Nigella too. I made the chocolate fruitcake the other evening and it is absolutely divine  Might have to make another one before Christmas though!
Dealing with my debt and my weight :D
    Debt at LBM 22/12/08 £33,270
Debt now £30,100 (9.5% paid off)

    £2 coins saved and banked = £210
  • How long do u think the peanut butter cups would last once they have been made? and I mean how long would they keep for, not how long it would take to eat them :rotfl:
  • I adore the style of nigellas cookery programmes ,she is a treat to watch.
Her ribs looked delish last night ...but dont know about getting up in the early hours after a party to make a chorizo soup ,what was that about :rotfl:
