washing machine leaking from gap in panels

Hi
We have had a Hotpoint washing machine model WML760 for about 2 years now. We have never been happy with it but thats another story.
Anyhow the last few days we have noticed a small puddle of water underneath the washing machine which has caused our laminate flooring to 'raise'.
Today I moved the washing machine out and there is no cracks etc in the inlet or drain pipes and none of the parts of the washing machine appear wet.
Done another cycle and again it leaked. So watched a whole cycle and it appears to start leaking during the last stages of the drain cycle. The leak seems to be coming out of the small gap between the left side and bottom panels.
Where is this water coming from? what can i do to stop it? Is putting sealant along the gap worthwhile?
