    Hi

Do you have the names of real people to whom you owe money listed above? if so, please hit the edit button and just use initials.

Are the citreon and hitachi debts car-related? If so are the secured loans?

You need to put the APRs on the debts as well, as this matters a lot.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

I am surprised you are being paid £2,900 in benefits to live in a £215,000 house in which you have £120,000 equity.

I'd keep quiet about that, because any benefits re-assessment is likely to be downwards.

Hey there....do you really need a car it's costing you a crazy amount of your income each month!!

As for Sat TV, Ent, holidays etc then if you have no money they have to be forfeited there's no getting around that. Have a look at the grocery challenge boards and you'll be able to reduce your grocery shopping that's a crazy amount to spend a month.

What do the other two adults in the house do could one of them not get a job or a part time job etc to supplement your income? What size house do you live in? Is there a spare room that you could pehaps rent out to a lodger (even if this means the two children sharing....many families have no choice but for the kids to share)

I hope there's some helpful answers for you on here. You can get through it but you need help from your family also that means the adults need to step up to the mark. Is there any way you could earn a bit of money from home do you have any skills etc in terms of reading, writing anything you could utilise?

    Keep your chin up !!
    Maz xx

Amount short for making debt repayments. -280 How have you been managing up until now? Are you currently getting £280 further in to debt every month?

I suggest that you cancel pay for TV (saving: £27), shaving £150 off groceries, reduce clothing to £10, halving your entertainment (saving £20), cutting holiday (saving £10), halving presents (saving £10), halving emergency fund (saving £10), and when your TV license reverts to the usual £12.37 you'll save a further £7. All these savings combined will mean that you only have £34 left to find - so perhapse you could try and shave a little off petrol, water bill, and by shifting yout utilities around (gas/electric)?

If you find that you can't manage to get your income to meet your expenditure, or if your current income is unlikely to increase any time soon (I think that you can make short term cutbacks,, but they may not be sustainable in the long term), then I would strongly sugget that you seek advice from one of the free debt charities before your situation gets worse (which it will unfortunately if you go £280 further in to debt every month). Try CCCS, Cab, National debtline - they'll give you free, impartial and non-judgemental advice on how to talkle your surrent situation and debts.

satellite includes tv,telephone and broadband. cut out the TV element - you can watch plenty on freeview, or consider freesat as an alternative - you can get home phone and internet for apprx £20-25pm

A meter might work out cheaper, it seems high to me, but perhapse someone else can advise on whether or not it would work out cheaper (there are only 2 of us in our house) - the benifit of being on a meter would be that you are only charged for what you use - it depends how economical with water usage you could be as to whether it would work out cheaper (baths/showers/washing machine/dishwasher/garden etc)
