help...spammers

i have a facebook goup and it is being spammed by someone/thing that is not a member, therefore i seem to be unable to ban/block this person...

if i delete or mark as spam it just re-appears on refreshing the page..

how can i get rid of it for good...it's driving me mad..

Can you not report the spam

reported it till i'm purple..
reported it as spam..
reported it as abuse...
still it is there,tormenting me and annoying all the group..

the only way i can see is for every member to put it on their block list.....but i will still know that it is lurking somewhere..

goto internet and diable pics, or active x or whatever it uses to run, then you can ignore it. not realy solving the problem but will somehow not load.

Maybe tell google, msn, firefox etc... that you want to beable to click on a piece of advertising so that the next time you load that page, the browser ignores the ignored piece.
I do see it possible as the advert will be labeled xxxx.xxx , so the program can go when loading https://www.xxx.com/???/?? ignore xxx.xxx , but oviously more techy

Firefox and the Adblock Plus add-on should do the trick

thanks all...

now solved as it turns out that although the spammer involved was not showing as a member on my member list(therefore i could not block him) he/it showed up on another group members list...

so i made them an admin and they could block him/it..
