garage insulation and partition wall advice needed!

Hi, i have a large garage that isnt used for keeping any vehicles in. Im currently trying to partition it in half to set up a permanent space for a domestic rat rescue.
There is already electric and lighting out there and its a heavy brick building which stays faily warm in winter and fairly cold in summer however I do feel it could do with a little more insulation.
Do you think the silver bubble type insulation is best for this ceiling (see pic below) and do i attach it at the lowest part of the ceiling to the wooden beams or to the actual flat ceiling? and what about round the light cable?

With regards to the partition wall, as we may want to move in the future I didnt want to build anything permanent, so I think the simplest way would be to build a wall of bookcases, can anyone think of a (cheaper) or better solution?
thanks in advance!

I assume they mean family

On my garage which connects to the house I used loft insulation and then plasterboard and then skimmed, cheap way to do it but probably not the best way0 -

Use sheets of 4 inch cellotex / kingspan, wedge it up between the joists, or hold up with nails if its loose. The plaster board the ceiling.
You can buy the big sheets 2.4m long and get them delivered from places like Jewsons.0
