Made redundant but not told...

Hi,
I worked 2 or 3 days at a loan company, received an ID card, signed a piece of paper to say I received my ID card, got my email address/computer set up, etc. However as far as I can remember I didn't sign a proper contract.
A few weeks later, when I was still on the payroll (although not working), the team I was on was made redundant (or dismissed) either way without my knowledge.
Where do I stand? I had only worked 2/3 days, I had received the ID card and email address but not signed a contract, and then the company make the team, and me, redundant/dismissed me. I received my P45.
Thanks!

Basically, can I go to an employment tribunal?
No contract signed, but ID card/computer access given, P45 given
Not told about redundancy/dismissal0 -

On what basis?
Unfair dismissal? Nope you have 2-3 days service not 12 months
Discrimination? Highly unlikely given your post
Given you have no access to statutory notice, redundancy pay and you had no contractual notice (or contract) your only possible claim may be for a couple of days wages - did they pay you out for the days you worked? Also, what happened after the first couple of days at the job?[/QUOTE]Go round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger0 -
