Home Learning College

Hi Folks

Anybody out there using/used Home Learning College? I urgently need feedback if they are any good and do they do what it says on the packaging. i.e. do their qualifications measure up etc?

Look forward to your feedback.

  • Hi, I know very little about them, so cannot advise. However, I am a bit dubious about their claims to be the 'UK’s leading Home Study provider'
Have you considered the open university? They offer lots of different courses, at various levels, and they are a recognised and respected organisation.

    Hi

Already got a degree from the OU, but that was to prove to myself that if I'd not gone to the pub 24 years ago that I did have the ability to study at that level. Their fees for more work related courses are expensive and I don't have the funds even with using the OUSBA method and spreading the cost over time

Right now I'm looking at a career change and will be signing up to the Home Learning College tomorrow. They do have a 14 day cooling of period and I'll be using that time to go through any supplied books and if I'm not happy I'll be cancelling. Their fees are a bit more reasonable but for some reason are not available on the web site this is odd.

Your are right though about information being scarce, I've posted for information on a number of forums and had little success. But then again not everybody uses their pc for useful activities.
