Timber Treatment Specialist

My homebuyer's survey has recommended that i organise a timber treatment specialist to inspect the hallway of the house i'm interested in buying, as the surveyer found definite damp in the area. He also recommends that the specialist check for insect infestation.

Has anyone got a rough idea how much the inspection might cost? Can anyone recommend a specialistin or around Chelmsford, Essex?
