christian louboutin fake shoes

Hi,
My friend bought christian louboutin off ebay last month and was very happy (bought for £300 something) which later turned out to be fake? the seller wrote 100% authentic ! and only her bf was able to see it was fake, and got it confirmed by taking to christian louboutins shop.

Now i am seeing so many shoes listed which are christian louboutins? how do we differ from real and fake?

One of my collegue has come from dubai and said there are so many fake christian loubotuins for sale, so cheap like its £200-£300 here, its the same amount but in AED (the countrys currency) and which are better of quality then the real ones, i want to buy a pair now from ebay and i m confused and i dont want to end up paying high amount for fake ones!

Has anybody bought from ebay and were fake? how do you differenciate them ... can anybody please let me know

I wouldn't know how to tell the difference but did your friend open a dispute about hers?

I love Louboutin shoes! Wearing a pair at the moment :D

Ebay is rife with fakes. In fact I'd say most of them are fake, certainly in some styles.

Fakes are easy enough to spot if you know what you are looking for but if helps to have a real pair handy to compare as the differences are subtle until you get your eye in. Generally the quality isn't that good. The stitching is uneven and sloppy and the leather is cheaper.

A more obvious give away is the top of the shoe by the heel. A genuine Louboutin has a vertical seam whilst a fake one may have a little "tab" across the top. The lack of this tab though isn't an infalllible guide. Don't be afraid to ask for detailed close up shots of the shoe and look hard at the detailing. If a seller has lots of a style that is "sold out" then why? Are they using stock pictures or one of the item for sale?

These are not official guaranteed authentications but these ladies know their shoes and it will be a good fake that gets past them. The only real safeguard though is to buy from Louboutin or one of the authorised sites listed on the official Louboutin website.
